How to Yoni Steam at Home

- A yoni steam seat or a safe setup with a wide bowl
- A blend of dried herbs (like mugwort, calendula, rose, lavender, yarrow, basil)
- A large towel or blanket
- 4–6 cups of purified water
- Prepare the herbs: Add 1–2 tablespoons of dried herbs to a large heat-safe bowl.
- Boil the water: Pour boiling water over the herbs and let steep, covered, for 5–10 minutes.
- Set up safely: Place the bowl under your seat or in your yoni steam chair. Test the steam with your hand first—it should be warm, not hot.
- Wrap yourself: Undress from the waist down, and wrap a towel or blanket around your waist to trap the steam.
- Steam gently: Sit for 10–30 minutes, breathing deeply and staying present.
- Aftercare: Rest or journal after steaming. Drink water and allow your body to integrate.
- Regular cycle: 1–3 times/month (before and after period)
- Postpartum (after 6 weeks): 2–3 times/week for 1–2 months
- Fertility support: 2–3 times/month (avoid ovulation and luteal phase)
